We've compiled some frequently asked questions and our responses regarding the boat fishing experience tours.

Q

What do I need to bring?

A

You can join us without any equipment, but please bring your own towel(s) and beverages (no alcohol permitted).
*If you are concerned about getting seasick, please take some medicine for motion sickness before you join the tour.
*Please be sure to wear footwear you don't mind getting wet.
*We recommend you put on/bring sunscreen on sunny days.
*If you'd like to take your catch with you, please be sure to bring your own cooler/container to carry the fish.

Q

Can we eat the fish that we catch?

A

It depends on what you catch, but you can enjoy it at our local diner.
To have your fish prepared, the rate starts at 1,500 yen per person(details will be decided by the captain on the day of the catch).
*Some tours may require a waiting time until the boat returns to the port, but dining is possible on all tours.
*The tour prices do not include fish preparation and cooking (separate fee is required).

When should we book by?

A

When booking online, please reserve by the day before your desired tour date.
For reservations on the day of the tour, please call us.

Q

Can beginners and children participate?

A

Yes. Children aged 3 and older can join our tours. Our friendly captain and staff will assist you, so anybody can join our tours, worry-free. (Please consult with us for children under 3 years of age.)

Up to how many people can join a tour?

A

The capacity per tour is 24 (12 adults x 2 boats=24 people. *For children under 11, two children are counted as 1 adult). Our tours are available for large groups of families and friends.

A

What are the payment methods?

A

Please pay us on the day of your tour, in cash. *We're sorry, we don't accept credit card payments.

Q

What is your cancellation policy?

A

In case of cancellation due to customer's convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged.
■Cancellation the day before contact: 50% of the play/experience fee
■Cancellation of contact on the day: 100% of the play/experience fee
■No-contact cancellation: 100% of the play/experience fee
cancellation fee will be charged.
Please contact us as soon as possible to change the schedule or the number of people. Depending on the season and reservation status, we may not be able to meet your request. Please note.

What's included in the tour rates?

A

Full set of fishing equipment, bait, life jacket rental, boat ride, insurance, and consumption tax.
*Cost for meals are not included in the tour rates.

Q

Will the tour proceed even if it rains?

A

Tours will proceed as scheduled in rain showers. We will have raingear at the shop for our participants.

Q

Will I get seasick?

A

The boat is relatively large, so it sways only a little. If you are concerned, we recommend you take medication for motion sickness before the tour.

I haven't received the booking confirmation email...

A

Normally upon booking, our automated response email will be sent to your email address to confirm the details. On occasion, if you're using a mobile phone email address or other free email account, you may not receive our email. Please check your junk mail and trash folders. If you haven't heard back from us in 2 days, we kindly ask you contact us again.

Q

Cancellation of tours and/or departure of the boats

A

Please note that tours may be cancelled during adverse sea conditions. We will contact you the day before or on the day, or at the earliest time possible if the weather and sea conditions are not good.
*Please note that sudden change in weather may result in cancellation of a tour.
*Please note that even in sunny weather, if the waves are too high, we may have to cancel the tour.
